Tools4ever to Exhibit at BbWorld 2016

Tools4ever is set to exhibit at BbWorld to showcase how its solutions can integrate with and assist Blackboard customers.

Tools4ever, a market leader in identity governance and administration (IGA), announced today that it will exhibit at BbWorld 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Palazzo, July 12th through the 14th, 2016, in booth #4513.

BbWorld is the premier education technology training, networking and professional development event for Blackboard users from around the globe and one of the largest educational gatherings in the industry.

Tools4ever team members will be available to discuss why identity and access management solutions are critical to educators, as well as answer questions about the most pressing concerns and needs of IT leaders seeking to mitigate their user and password management issues. They also will be discussing how Tools4ever's solutions integrate seamlessly with Blackboard's industry leading teaching and learning solutions to relieve significant burdens from the IT department.

Additionally, they will be showcasing several of Tools4ever's new solutions, including Identity and Access Manager (IAM) and the cloud single sign-on solution HelloID. HelloID allows users the ability to enjoy the single sign-on (SSO) experience inside, as well as outside, of their district's network. By logging in just once, students, teachers and other school employees can easily gain access to cloud applications, including Blackboard, on their smartphones, tablets or laptops from anywhere there is a connection.

Additionally, managing accounts within Blackboard's solutions is a time-consuming task when data is maintained manually. Tools4ever's Identity and Access Manager (IAM) solution offers the functionality to automatically manage student data in Blackboard's solutions by extracting relevant information from any student information systems (e.g. Banner, JPAMS or PowerSchool) and synchronizing it to Blackboard. Every time student information changes, this information is automatically detected by Tools4ever's IAM and updated in Blackboard's solutions.

Specific actions that can be automated include: create a user account; update a user name or location; change roles; reset password; collate all users; and delete users. Functionality also can be extended to additional actions, such as class rosters for enrollment.

Tools4ever also is an approved Blackboard Building Blocks partner. This allows Tools4ever the ability to combine expertise and access Blackboard resources to effectively integrate and develop customizations and integrations that enhance the learning process.

Dean Wiech, managing director at Tools4ever, added, "We are proud to be a Blackboard partner and to assist with making the account management process streamlined and more efficient, so that schools can focus on students and technology in the classroom."
