How it all started...

On the 1st of  November 1999,  a management buyout from Jacques Vriens at Simac brought about the creation of Tools4ever. Two years later in 2001, co-founder Tjeerd Seinen joined the organization. Jacques and Tjeerd were looking to build new software solutions to enable system administrators to do their work with greater speed, security and simplicity. This vision led to the development of a suite of Identity Access Management software.

This vision proved very successful. To meet the demand of its existing client base and new clients, the staff has increased dramatically, from 1 person in 1999, to 140 skilled employees in 2019.

Our History  

  • 1999

    Management buyout from Simac by Jacques.   

  • 2003

    Expanding international support with offices in the USA and UK  

  • 2004

    Opening new offices in Germany and France  

  • 2005

    Launching the  Identity and Access Management Platform; UMRA  

  • 2008

    Expanding the  Identity and Access Management Portfolio with Password Self Service and Single Sign On (SSO)

  • 2010

    Starting IAM development as an on premise Enterprise Identity Management platform

  • 2015

    Starting development  of an IDaaS platform, HelloID    

  • 2018

    Opening office in Spain

  • 2019

    20 year anniversary and the release of all HelloID modules
