Visma Raet is a provider of HR and payroll software solutions that helps organizations optimize their HR processes. The software solutions focus on managing personnel data, payroll administration, talent management, and HR analytics.
Manually managing user accounts and access rights can be both time-consuming and error-prone. Ensuring new employees have access to the correct resources from day one, and that changes in roles, locations, or employment status are correctly processed in other systems and applications, is critical. The Visma Raet and HelloID integration makes it possible to automate these processes based on the HR system.
How HelloID Integrates with Visma Raet
As a Visma Raet partner, Tools4ever has developed an integration that makes it easy to connect Visma Raet as a source connector within HelloID. The integration automatically detects all changes in Visma Raet and manages user accounts and access rights according to predefined rules and procedures, keeping account information in the application landscape always up to date.
The integration between HelloID and Visma Raet ensures every change in Visma Raet is detected, after which HelloID automatically executes the correct procedures. HelloID provides a comprehensive identity lifecycle management solution with capabilities for creating, updating, and deleting user accounts and access rights based on Visma Raet data.

The HelloID Visma Raet connector uses the Visma Raet IAM API and includes a standard set of fields for personnel data, organizational data, and contract information agreed upon by Tools4ever and Visma Raet. This set can be adjusted per implementation, as long as the relevant fields are accessible via the IAM API. Visma Raet monitors the integration between the Visma Raet API and the HelloID connector; if an issue arises with data exchange, Tools4ever and Visma Raet resolve it collaboratively.
The API is GDPR-compliant by design and ensures the security of data exchange from two perspectives:
- Privacy by Design: The API uses industry standards such as HTTPS for encrypted communication and OAuth for access control.
- Purpose limitation: Only information relevant to user and authorization management is shared, ensuring sensitive and unnecessary data such as salary information or social security numbers is not exchanged.
Although the IAM API itself does not have filtering capabilities, filters can be configured within HelloID to determine which employees receive an account.
