SOC 2 Type II Attestation

Tools4ever has received a SOC 2 Type II audit attestation from Brand Compliance.

SOC stands for Service Organization Controls, and the audit evaluates an organization's internal controls for securing IT systems and data, among other requirements. SOC 2 focuses on service delivery processes, with an emphasis on security, availability, and confidentiality. Whereas a SOC 2 Type I examination assesses only the design and existence of the internal control system, a Type II examination also tests the design and operating effectiveness of the control measures.

Why This Audit Is Important To Customers

SOC 2 is primarily aimed at service organizations. Customers who outsource processes want to do so only through a reliable service provider. A SOC 2 attestation confirms to the customer that an independent expert has evaluated the quality of the services. This evaluation includes oversight of the organization, supplier management programs, sound software development, internal corporate governance, and risk management processes.
