End of Life (EOL) Process
This page explains what the EOL process entails, which support we provide, and how to prepare your organization for the future.
Important EOL dates
The following products have an End of Life (EOL) date.
Product | Start date | Alternative |
Self Service Reset Password Manager (SSRPM) | 2004 | Microsoft Entra self-service password reset (SSPR) |
User Management Resource Administrator (UMRA) | 2005 | HelloID |
Password Synchronization Manager (PSM) | 2005 | Limited alternative in the form of SSO within HelloID or Microsoft Entra ID |
Identity & Access Manager (IAM) | 2015 | HelloID |
The EOL process is divided into three phases. Below is an overview of the key dates and what they mean:
Phase | Date | Meaning |
End of Servicing | December 31, 2025 | No new updates or features will be provided. |
End of Support | December 31, 2026 | No standard technical support will be available. Limited support may remain available through Extended Support. |
End of Extended Support | Expected as of December 31, 2028 | No technical support will be available. |
Why and what now?
Extended Support
With Extended Support, we provide limited support after 2026 to keep your systems secure and operational while you develop a long-term strategy.
Extended Support includes:
Security patches: Support for urgent security issues.
Operational continuity: Targeted assistance to resolve disruptions and perform simple changes.
Additional time for planning: More room to implement a future-proof solution.
Support up to Windows Server 2025 and Windows 11
During the Extended Support period we provide support on the currently available Windows platforms. Our products UMRA, IAM, and SSRPM remain fully supported up to a maximum of Windows Server 2025.
In addition, the SSRPM Client remains supported on Windows 11, including the integration with the Windows Credential Provider.
After these versions, newer Windows platforms will no longer be officially supported within the Extended Support program.

Important information about iOS apps
In addition to the general EOL process, we would also like to inform you about the phase-out of the iOS apps “HelloID | Tools4ever” and “HelloID | Multiuser”. Below you will find the key dates and implications.
As of December 1, 2025
Apps will be hidden in the App Store
Existing users retain access
Reinstallation available for previous users
As of March 1, 2026
Apps will be fully removed and phased out
No longer available, including for existing users
Good to know: the HelloID Authenticator app will remain available and is not affected by this change.
Impact on SSO on iOS
Because plug-in apps are being discontinued, we advise organizations to move to modern authentication protocols such as SAML, OIDC, or WS-Fed. These protocols are fully supported and work seamlessly through mobile browsers such as Safari.
