The Ysis Target Connector enables Ysis to be connected to various source systems through the HelloID Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution from Tools4ever. The integration strengthens and streamlines the management of access rights and user accounts, with automation at the core. HelloID always draws on data retrieved from your source systems. What is Ysis?
Ysis is software developed by Gerimedica. The software supports the complex care required by vulnerable individuals. An estimated half of all practitioners in the sector use Ysis, with approximately 30,000 healthcare professionals logging in to the solution daily. Ysis minimizes the time healthcare professionals spend behind a screen, giving them more time for delivering care. The solution is tailored to the needs of physicians, nurses, therapists, and care staff in elderly care, community care, and disability care, as well as professionals who handle the administration and billing of care provided.
Why is a Ysis Integration Useful?
Ysis plays a critical role in delivering the right care to vulnerable individuals. It is therefore essential that employees, whether permanent staff, flexible workers, or temporary workers, have access to Ysis. The integration between your source systems and Ysis through HelloID eliminates the need to manage this manually. The IAM solution automatically detects changes in your source systems, whether that involves the creation of a new user or a role change. Based on these changes, HelloID automatically creates the required account in Ysis or updates an existing account. Note: updating disciplines from within Ysis is not possible through the integration.

How HelloID Integrates with Ysis
Ysis can be connected to HelloID as a target system. The IAM solution uses the Ysis API, which is based on System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM). Ysis uses IP whitelisting for this API, which means an on-premises HelloID agent is required to establish this integration.
Note: HelloID can initially record the discipline to which a Ysis account belongs, but cannot automatically update this discipline when changes occur. HelloID does detect the change of discipline in your source system and can notify the Ysis functional administrator via email. The functional administrator can then process the change manually.

Connecting Ysis to Systems via HelloID

Microsoft Active Directory/Entra ID to Ysis integration: Strengthen security and the user experience by keeping Ysis and Active Directory fully synchronized through HelloID for Single Sign-On (SSO). Users only need to log in once to access the accounts they need, including their Ysis account. Fewer passwords to remember also makes it easier for users to adopt strong passwords, increasing productivity, improving security, and simplifying the management of user accounts and authorizations.

AFAS to Ysis integration: The AFAS to Ysis integration improves collaboration between the HR and IT departments. When a new employee joins, HelloID can automatically create a Ysis account and link the corresponding Ysis role and/or module to the account, making the account provisioning process smoother and more efficient.
