UMRA is end of life
Vanaf 31 december 2025 is UMRA uitgefaseerd bij Tools4ever. Dit betekent dat er geen nieuwe updates meer uitgevoerd gaan worden en de support op 31 december 2026 zal eindigen.
Alternatief: Als alternatief biedt Tools4ever het cloudgebaseerde HelloID.
UMRA: Identity & Access Management
In 2004, User Management Resource Administrator (UMRA) was launched as a product. This is our first-generation identity management product, primarily focused on user and resource management.
This solution is used by 400+ organizations in the Netherlands and 5,200+ worldwide. UMRA is one of the biggest successes in our service portfolio. The solution simplifies and automates provisioning processes and can connect to 150+ applications to automate user and authorization management.
All UMRA versions are fully supported, and Tools4ever releases new versions every two years with minor bug fixes and new functionality, which keeps UMRA fully deployable and up to date for all our UMRA customers.
IAM and HelloID
Since 2015, IAM has been used for new customers, our second-generation identity management solution. IAM focuses on identity management with greater emphasis on authorization management and reduced emphasis on resource management.
HelloID is our third-generation identity and access management solution. It is our 100% cloud-based Identity as a Service (IDaaS) offering. For many customers who currently use UMRA and have a cloud strategy, HelloID will be a suitable service to migrate to in the near future.
Education Market
UMRA remains the best solution for the education market for automated provisioning of user accounts and authorizations for staff and student populations. UMRA offers a broad set of education-specific connectors that automate user and authorization management. However, HelloID is growing rapidly in functionality and is increasingly a compelling alternative. Curious whether this also applies to your educational institution?
