User Management Resource Administrator is an extremely powerful tool that has for me, proved itself capable of performing any task connected with the creation and management of users in windows networks, whether or not you are using Active Directory - the significance of this, is that the tasks can be applied to many users at one go. User Account Management - (Auto) Provisioning

Many organizations find creating, removing and updating user accounts to be a complex, labor-intensive and time-consuming process. Why is it so difficult? User account management is not a complicated task as such, but it becomes complex for the following reasons:

1. Communication about user account management is laborious. Organizations are quick to report changes when it is in their own interest (a new employee, a new position, additional rights, additional applications) but often tend to forget to report changes important to the IT department (resignations, superfluous privileges, superfluous applications, unused disk space).

2. At an organizational (management) level, people know what has to be done in the network, but not how. Managers know exactly which employees work in their department and what activities they perform but they don’t know which settings should be configured for employees, what network resources (storage, bandwidth, print copies etc.) they use or which IT assets they have access to. The IT department has this information at its disposal, but doesn’t receive the relevant information from management. This produces an avalanche of helpdesk calls and frustration in both camps.

3. User account management is not performed by a single person or using a single network component, but rather by a group of IT agents (helpdesk, second-line and third-line support, application administrators) using a wide variety of applications and systems. Just consider how many systems a new user has to be created in when a new employee starts work (Active Directory, Exchange, helpdesk system, phone directory, PBX and numerous other business applications).

Tools4ever enables organizations to automate the user provisioning process fully (or partly), with (Auto) Provisioning, Downstream Provisioning, Delegation and RBAC.
