Demo and purchased version

When you install SpaceGuard SRM without specifying a license code, a 30-day demo version is installed automatically. The demo version supports all functions and features. The 30-day period starts counting when you install the SpaceGuard SRM service. After 30-days, the demo license is expired and SpaceGuard SRM will stop functioning. To obtain a valid license code, contact your SpaceGuard SRM reseller.

What happens when the SpaceGuard SRM demo expires:

  • The SpaceGuard SRM service will continue running

  • New quotas cannot be added or modified, only deleted

  • Alarm actions will not be executed

How to Buy:

Once expired, you can still upgrade a demo version to a purchased version. All configuration settings will be maintained and there is no need to reconfigure any settings. You only need to specify a valid license code to activate the quota engine. The license code is specified and verified in the SpaceGuard SRM service configuration.
