MigrateMagic License information
MigrateMagic requires a seperate license for each target domain. Licensing
for each domain is based on the total number of user accounts in the domain.
MigrateMagic Demo information
MigrateMagic is able to run in demo mode. To activate the demo mode,
go to the About box, and enter the word "demo" for both fields.
The demo mode allows you to operate all functions of MigrateMagic with
5 predefined user accounts. You will be able to migrate passwords, remove
SIDhistory entries and cleanup user accounts for only 5 user accounts.
These user accounts are named (username): MMTestUser1,
MMTestUser2, MMTestUser3,
MMTestUser4, MMTestUser5.
To successfully test MigrateMagic's functionality in demo mode, these
user accounts have to exist in both the source and target domain. For
instance, to test MigrateMagic's password migration capabilities, create
a user account named "MMTestUser1" in a Windows NT4 domain and
enter a password. Now, create a user account in a valid Windows2000 Active
Directory domain named also "MMTestUser1". Next, start MigrateMagic
and enter "demo" in both field in the About box. Choose the
password migration option and specify both domains. At the user selection
dialog, select the user account named "MMTestUser1". Click next
when specifying the password migration options, these are correct by default
for the demo user accounts. Click finish to start the password migration
process. After this process completes, both the user account in the source
domain and the user account in the target domain have the same password.
