I couldn't manage without Monitor Magic. We have some web mail software on one Web server. For some reason this webmail software causes my W3 Service to stop at least 4 times daily. With Monitor Magic I don't get calls from people angry that their web sites are down. Thank you Monitor Magic for being a great product. Michael P McDaniel Coupon Connection of America

SSRPM has paid for itself over and over. We installed when our helpdesk staff was cut back and more then took the place. The users find it very convienent to be able to handle there own password issues.

Changes in Network ServaNT 4.1.2 (build 1101)

  • FreePingGold Module: Specifying the used SMTP server
now also accepts the direct IP address instead of only
    the DNS name.

  • FreePingGold Module: The sender addres of the SMTP
messages is now configurable. This could be required
by security setting on the SMTP server.

  • FreePingGold Module: The loglevel specification
is remembered after a service stop and start.

  • FreePingGold Module: The "Failure Period" and the "Success Period" are
    now seperatly specifiable.

  • Network ServaNT Module: When changing properties
of more users at the same time in the "Users" node, the data is now only refeshed once for
all users and not for each user separately.

  • Network ServaNT Module: The Group selection dialog
box in the user propeties does not cause unecessary
    refreshes when assinging/deassing
    group memberships.

  • Network ServaNT Module: The "user comment" field in the users(real
last logon) node is now displayed correctly. Note that there are two different
    comment fields.

  • Network ServaNT Module: Editing a users' logon
script file directly from within Network servaNT
now also works correctly if the complete
    path
    is in the script
file parameter in the SAM. Previously it required a path relative
    to the profile directory.

Changes in Network ServaNT 4.1.1 (build 1098)

  • Freeping Gold module: On success mail notifcation
    now the correct mail subject
    text is send.

  • Freeping Gold module: An success event is now only
send if a certain host has been in the "red" since the previous success event, thus preventing
a single missed ping from generating success events.

Changes in Network ServaNT 4.1 (build 1097)

  • Solved a problem with the FREEping Gold client which
caused the rpc to the service to terminate unexpectedly
when the host list was longer that about 15 entries.

  • Solved a problem with the dialog for modifing local
groups that prevented single users to be added
    to a local group

Changes in Network ServaNT 4.0.3 (build 1094)

  • The FREEping Gold Popup and Mail messages now accept
keywords. The keywords can also be used in the
    FREEping Gold command line actions.

  • Client will now
ask for upgrade when a FREEPing Service has an
    old version instead
    of doing it automatically.

  • When ULLFileReport=1 (DWORD) in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARETools4everNetwork
ServaNTParameters, the errors encountered during collection of the "real
last logon" information will be written to the file ns.txt instead
of shown in a message box.

  • If a text file <Domain Name>.dcs, containing the names of the domain controllers
of the domain <Domain Name> ,(each on a separate line) is placed
    in the tree directory,

The Users of domain (real last logon) node will query the specified
servers instead of all domain controllers for the domain.

  • The ip addresses of the ping services in the client
are now cached, which will speed up the communication
    considerably.

  • Deletion of the service did sometimes not remove
    the msg.dll file.

  • Minimum en max response time will show a "-" if
    the host is unreachable.

  • The FP service reported
    its state as running a
little too soon, which caused the version to
    only show after a F5.

  • Changing the RPC port number of the client
works now if the service is not running.

  • The FREEping nodes do not expand automatically
when they have been closed manually.

  • Modify host will now resolve the IP address
again when the hostname is modified.

  • In the dialog to change the license key
it is now possible to specify the company
    name.

  • The popup and mail messages settings
for FREEping Gold can now be configured
    with keywords. In the previous
    version the server
    name
    and hostname
of the FreePing Gold service where always automatically
    added
    to the message.
    Now this only happens
when the right kewords are specified in the message.
On New FREEping Gold installations, the default
    message contains
    the equivalent
keywords. If you upgrade you must
specify the correct keywords manually (once).
