Exporting or importing account information to/from a database

All basic user information is in Active Directory and management would now like to add phone numbers, address information and functional profiles. The easiest way to accomplish this would be to import the information from a pre-establish database that holds the information, a Human Resources database for example.

Solution – UMRA

UMRA allows you to easily perform complex import/export operations between Active Directory and all sorts of data sources like CSV files and relational database systems. Effortlessly add-in phone numbers and address information to existing user accounts using SQL Server as data source without having to resort to ADSI and ODBC scripting.

  • Complex import/export using Active Directory and database or CSV
  • Export any attribute, even schema extensions
  • No ADSI script knowledge required
  • Import information such as phone numbers from a database in bulk
