MonitorMagic automates the job of constantly monitoring business-critical servers, for Windows systems ranging from NT4 to 2003 and non-Windows operating systems such as UNIX, Linux and Novell.

MonitorMagic includes monitors that are capable of monitoring all resources and aspects of a server, both on hardware and software level. All vital resources have been pre-configured into policies that ship for free with MonitorMagic.

Actions & Alerts

• MonitorMagic supports a wide range of notifications, from pop-up and e-mail notifications to custom batch or script actions
• MonitorMagic can execute various actions, such as command line, script and batch file execution, start or stop services with cascade, terminate processes, shutdown and reboot computers
• All notifications and alerts can be escalated in random order
• MonitorMagic supports timed escalation with acknowledgement
