Features - TCP/IP ping and port scanner

A free extension to MonitorMagic - available as command line utility

Connects to any TCP/IP port and retrieves the response time and error code.
You can use this in both MonitorMagic as
a standard plugin, or in your own scripts to automatically see which ports
are open in your clients or servers. This utility runs from the command line
and can be easily incorporated into scripts or batch files.

Monitoring
criteria

• Ping: DNS Name, Error code, Host, IP Address, NETBIOS name, Packet
  size, Ping time-out, Pings failed, Pings received, Pings sent, Response time
  and Total pings failed


• Port: Host, Connection time, Connected host, Connected port, Error
  code, Error text
