Pro-active monitoring and management

The Windows Event log is stored locally on each computer and is therefore no consolidated source of status information. Windows itself has no method of replicating or sychronizing this information to a single, centrally available audit source. MonitorMagic features central or distributed storage of Windows Event Logs in a database and provides intelligent and dynamic reports for easy and quick centralized event log management.

Agentless Archiving

• No need to install agents on each server to archive event logs, have MonitorMagic archive and store all event logs remotely
• Supports Windows NT4 or higher, including Windows 2000, XP and Server 2003 editions
• Scheduling to minimize network load
• Archive up to 25 servers using a single agent
• Supports Microsoft SQL Server, MSDE and Access
