Database Monitoring

• Monitors the performance and availability of business critical applications
• Comes with pre-configured thresholds and parameters
• Integration with popular applications such as Exchange, SQL Server, ISA Server, Veritas Backup Exec, ARCServe, McAfee, and many more
• Monitor business critical processes such as backup job status, anti-virus definition updates, Active Directory replication and more

Integrates with SQL Server (7.0 and 2000):
Monitors the following event log values, services and performance counters:

• SQL Server event logs for all critical errors
• SQL Server % log space used more than 75%
• SQL Server cache hit ratio performance
• SQL Server lock memory
• SQL Server user connections
• When disk space is less than 15% on the database servers it will warn on minimum defragmentation level
• Will send a warning when CPU load more than 95% on the database servers for more than 5 consecutive minutes
• Will send a warning when physical memory is less than 10MB on the database servers
• Will send a warning when memory committed bytes in use is more than 90% on the database servers

Integrates with Oracle on Windows 9i:
Monitors the following event log values, services and performance counters:

• Oracle critical event errors
• When disk space is less than 15% on the database servers it will warn on minimum defragmentation level
• Will send a warning when CPU load is more than 95% on the database servers for more than 5 consecutive minutes
• Will send a warning when physical memory is less than 10MB on the database servers
• Will send a warning when memory committed bytes in use is more than 90% on the database servers

Integrates with Oracle on UNIX 9i:
Monitors the following SNMP get values:

• Oracle Open Cursors
• Oracle Open Links
• Oracle Uptime
• Oracle User Commits
• Oracle User Rollbacks
