Pinpoint potential problems

By drawing a graph of performance characteristics such
as memory usage on a server for several months, you can
quickly assess and predict possible stability and performance
issues. You will be able to see when for instance your
Exchange server needs a hardware upgrade or when your
in-house applications suffer from possible memory leaks.

2D graphs

MonitorMagic's 2D graphs are best used for quick comparison
of multiple values. The below example shows several vital
performance characteristics over a small period of time
on a server. The processor usage (red bar) going to 100%
is immediately visible and easily spotted.

3D graphs, real-time rendering in OpenGL

MonitorMagic uses the industry-standard OpenGL graphics
library to provide full 3D real-time rendered graphs.
These graphs feature transparency, free-form modification
and anti-aliasing settings.

Real-time values

When you leave a graph window open, MonitorMagic will
automatically continue drawing the current graph up to
the current time. The graph contents will automatically
shift and scale to accomodate new data.

Database link for historical values

When creating a new graph, MonitorMagic automatically
checks if historical data is available. If no database
is connected, MonitorMagic will warn you that historical
data could not be found. When connected to a database,
MonitorMagic will automatically draw the graph using
data from the database.

Customizable time-line

Each graph has its own adjustable time-line. By default,
a graph will display all values for 60 minutes back in
time up to the current time. If you leave a graph window
open, it will continue drawing the graph in real-time.

Customizable graph colors and layout

Both 2D and 3D graphs can be fully customized to your
needs. You can modify item, line and grid colors, and
even adjust OpenGL anti-aliasing mode for optimal graphics
quality.

Transparency, Rotation

MonitorMagic's 3D graphs can be freely customized by
using the orientation controls. This control panel allows
rotation, zooming and much more for each graph.

Printing

Print high-resolution reports with integrated graphics
and fully customized layout schemes. No additional software
or special printer drivers need to be installed. MonitorMagic
will automatically print on the standard available Windows
printers using the highest possible resolution supported
by the printer.
