Identity Management in Government

User account management is becoming increasingly complex. This trend is also visible in government agencies and semi state-controlled companies. When employees leave the organization, for instance, oftentimes their user accounts will continue to exist.
It may also happen that the names of employees are misspelled. Or there will be recurring changes in group memberships. Passwords have to be reset. In some cases, employees have to log in on seven different applications. Keeping track of all these user accounts is a time-consuming affair for system administrators. Fortunately, many of these tasks can now be automated or delegated to other departments.

Tools4ever’s Identity Management solution offers help with user account management across the organization. This solution is centered around the HRM/SIS system used by the organization (e.g. PIMS or PeopleSoft). After all, the HRM/SIS system will already contain all the relevant employee details.
